கீதாசாமி பப்ளிஷர்ஸ் பெருமையுடன் வழங்கும்,"பணியின் பரிமாணங்கள் " என்ற தொடரின் இந்த பதிவில் பங்கு பெருபவர் 1990ஆம் ஆண்டு Indian Revenue Service இந்திய வருமான பணியில் சேர்ந்த டாக்டர் G . M . தாஸ் அவர்கள்
தற்போது வருமான வரி துறையின் முதன்மை ஆணையராக மும்பையில் பணிபுரியும் டாக்டர் தாஸ் அவர்கள் காஞ்சிபுரம் மாவட்டத்திலுள்ள செங்காட்டூர் கிராமத்தில் பிறந்தவர். தனது 8ம் வகுப்பு வரை பள்ளிப்படிப்பை பிறந்த கிராமத்தில் முடித்து செய்யூரில் மேல்நிலைப்பள்ளி படித்து முடித்தவர். சென்னை கால்நடை மருத்துவக்கல்லாரியில் தனது B .V .Sc மருத்துவம் படித்து 1990ம் ஆண்டு தனது முதல் முயற்சியிலே குடிமைப்பணி தேர்வில் வெற்றி பெற்று இந்திய வருமான பணியில் சேர்ந்தார்
வருமான வரி உதவி ஆணையராக பெங்களுருவில் பணியை தொடங்கிய இவர் வெவ்வேறு நிலைகளில் மங்களூர், மும்பை, நாக்பூர், சென்னையில் பணிபுரிந்துள்ளார். மிக முக்கியமாக , வருமான வரித்துறையின் பயிற்சி நிறுவனமான National Academy of Direct Taxes இல் நிறைய அதிகாரிகளுக்கு பயிற்சியும் அளித்துள்ளார். மத்திய அரசின் சார்பாக அலுவலக ரீதியாக சிங்கப்பூர், சீனா, பிரான்ஸ், ஸ்விட்ஸ்ர்லாந்து மற்றும் அமெரிக்கா போன்ற நாடுகளுக்கு பயணம் மேற்கொண்டுள்ளார்.
In the "Nature of Service" series, Dr. G.M.Doss 190 batch of Indian Revenue Service (IRS-IT) officer and currently serving as Principal Commissioner Income Tax in Mumbai. He started his career in Bangalore as Assistant Commissioner of Income Tax and has worked in various capacities in Mangalore, Mumbai, Nagpur, and Chennai. Most importantly, he has trained a number of officers at the National Academy of Direct Taxes (NADT), a training institute for the Income Tax Department. He has officially traveled to Singapore, China, France, Switzerland, and the United States.
He was born in Sengattur village in the undivided Kanchipuram district. He completed his schooling up to the 8th standard in his native village and completed his high school education in Seyyur. Did his Bachelor Course in Veterinary Sciences at Madras Veterinary College.
